Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Paper (VCIP) is processed by a variety of vapor phase corrosion inhibitor (VCI) and a variety of packaging materials. It is depended on the gas which volatiled from vapor corrosion inhibitor at room temperature filling space inside the package, and adsorbing on the metal surface to form a layer of protective passivation film, which blocked corrosion occurs to achieve long-term anti-rust effect.

1. Performance and features

1.1 Volatile gas of Corrosion Inhibitors is all-pervasive. Even if the VCI packaging materials do not directly contact with the metal surface, the metal surface, inner hole, pipe, groove or slot also can be protected. Therefore it is more appropriate to mechanical parts or combination parts which are irregular, non-planar, complex structures, not allowed to seal by oil as well as hard coating rust inhibitor. The effective protection distance is 30 centimeters. The dosage can be identified by anti-rust time.

1.2 Easy to break the seal and use. Without coated oil before packing and the cleaning process after unsealing. Saving energy, reducing labor intensity, landscaping product packaging, and easy to mechanize operation.

1.3 A long period of anti-rust, effective and reliable. Anti-rust time of products in general is up to two years. According to the different needs of packaged products the anti-rust time can be up to 10 years by adjusting the dosage of inhibitor.

2. Products introduction

No. 2 VCIP: This paper is based on in the traditional No. 2 rust-proof paper, added the production of VCI. Have a good anti-rust to steel, cast iron, powder metallurgy products and so on. Be widely used in bearings, measuring tools, hardware tools, machine tool accessories and so on. The paper is slightly hygroscopic, but does not affect the anti-rust effect. Anti-rust time is up to two years or more. It is a more economical and practical anti-rust packing material.

3. Using methods and precautions

3.1 Before packaging, the workpieces should be cleaned. It is strictly prohibited to directly contact with hands.

3.2 The side of anti-rust materials coated of anti-rust paper should be toward packaged material. Workpieces with different materials and sizes, shapes can choose different ways of packaging and packaging materials. Workpieces can not be exposed, and along with sealed package.

3.3 VCI packaging materials can be used for packing of a variety of finished metal products. Also can be used to temporary anti-rust of turnover semi-finished goods between the processes. According to need, it can be made of VCI bags, boxes, barrels, etc., which can be recycling used. It is economical and convenient.

3.4 VCI packaging materials should be placed in the shade with low-temperature and drying to avoid acid-base erosion and prolonged exposure to sunlight. After opening the box, the remaining material should be sealed and properly kept.

3.5 Should be used with caution in the electrical with the optical glass and high sensitivity, bullets loading ammunition.
